McDonald’s bringing back very popular item after 8 years but only for a limited time

McDonald's fans have a lot to celebrate this spring as the popular fast-food brand is pulling out all the stops in order to give their fans the best food and drink experience.

Earlier last month, the brand announced major changes to the recipes of its iconic menu items. And then this week, McDonald's revealed its latest menu with exciting new burger and dips. It is also gearing up to celebrate the 40th anniversary of one of its best-selling items: McDonald's Chicken McNuggets.

Now in some more good news, as reported by All Recipes, McDonald's is going to be bringing back a fan-favourite menu item to add to its McCafe line-up: the Oreo Frappe! The returning fav would be available at participating McDonald's for a limited time only.

McDonald's bringing back the Oreo Frappe

As per the report, McDonald's is collaborating with Oreo once again this May in order to bring its fans the delicious Oreo Frappe.

As per The Fast Food Post, this item was first introduced in 2015, and consists of coffee blended with ice, Oreo cookies, syrup and topped with whipped cream and Oreos.

The product description seems truly promising. It states,

Rich mocha combined with the sweet flavors of Cookie ‘N Cream with the crunch of Oreo cookies, topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with Oreo cookie pieces.

Availability of Oreo Frappe

As per the report, the Oreo Frappe will be available at participating McDonald's locations from 17 May. As of now, it is not clear where all it would be available but McDonald's restaurants in Virginia and California have already started displaying promotional material for the returning fav item.

The item will be available for a limited time only so make sure you get to McDonald's asap once its hits the shelves.

In a Twitter post announcing the return of Oreo Frappe, one fan had this to say,

As long as it tastes like it did years ago, I'll be getting one multiple days a week
