McDonald's, Burger King, KFC: New deals and menu items on March 17, including $10 chicken bucket

With the weather finally starting to warm up, and half of March already over, it is finally time for one of the biggest celebrations of the year: St. Patrick’s Day.

St. Patrick's Day is a cultural and religious holiday that is celebrated on March 17th in honour of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, who is credited with bringing Christianity to the country in the 5th century. Today, St. Patrick's Day is a popular holiday, particularly in countries with large Irish populations, such as the United States, Canada, and Australia.

To make your celebrations memorable, here are the hottest fast-food deals from McDonald's, Burger King and KFC that you must not miss on St. Patrick's Day 2023.

McDonald’s latest items and deals

Right in time for St. Patrick’s Day, McDonald’s brought back Shamrock Shake and OREO Shamrock McFlurry on Feb. 21.

They have been a favourite with fans not only because they are delicious but also because of their exciting mint green shamrock colour that pays homage to the green colour associated with St. Patrick’s Day.

McDonald’s Chicken Big Mac also officially dropped at fast food chain restaurants across Canada and will be available until April 10th 2023.

Burger King

You can also enjoy freebies on Burger King items on March 17. With any purchase of $1 or more on the Burger King website or app, get a free order of onion rings.

KFC’s $10 chicken bucket

Fried chicken fans can get their supply of finger lickin’ good chicken from KFC's for only $10 for an 8-piece bucket on March 17. To enjoy this deal, all you need to do is order your food online through the KFC app.

KFC is also offering $5 wraps till Sunday.

KFC U.S. had earlier announced a major menu shake-up, and removed a whole assortment of fan-favourite items including Kentucky Fried Chicken wings, popcorn chicken and a lot more to make room for new items.

KFC has since announced that it would be testing out two new chicken sandwiches called the Ultimate BBQ KFC Chicken Sandwich and the Spicy Slaw Chicken Sandwich at select locations.
