The test run of this collab will let McDonald’s assess how teaming up with Krispy Kreme could impact its operations.
McDonald’s customers will be able to buy Krispy Kreme’s original glazed, chocolate iced with sprinkles and raspberry filled doughnuts, either individually or in packs of six. The participating McDonald’s locations will sell the doughnuts all day, but these would not be available for delivery.
According to CNBC, with customers cutting down on the amount of money they spend on restaurant visits, food brands are trying to innovate and do all it takes to get customers back through their doors.
