While it is not unheard of in fast food restaurants, for customers to be served free items or even to receive cool surprise gifts every now and then, a McDonald’s customer received his food order only to find the wildest thing ever.

The customer Josiah Vargas who posts on TikTok under the username @dookiedoeboy made a video about this amazing find. After making a McDonald's drive-thru order for a sausage McMuffin, Vargas received his food and reached into the to-go bag, only to find stacks of cash inside!
Interestingly, this is not the first time a customer has ended up with a bag of cash with their fast-food order. Last year, a KFC customer in Georgia was left stunned when she found that the KFC she ordered for lunch came with a hidden stack of cash.

McDonald’s serves up stack of cash as a side-dish
The video of the incident posted by Vargas has been viewed more than 2 million times already. In the video, the customer reaches inside his McDonald's to-go bag and pulls out a thick wad of bills in a plastic bag in the video and states,
What's in this bag? Their f**king deposits
Just a couple thousand dollars here. Like, what is this? Why would they do this?
Now I have to return this because I'm a good person, I guess
The customer then proceeds to return the money to the restaurant staff who were shocked and grateful in equal measure. The McDonald’s restaurant awarded the customer’s honest act of returning the money by offering him free McDonald's for a month.

My old mall job we would take the money out in a shopping bag to avoid getting jumped on the way out of the building so I can see how this happened
