Just earlier this month, McDonald's customers found dangerous tools inside the Happy Meal boxes served to their children. Now, another parent has taken to TikTok in order to let others know about what they found inside their child's meal.
McDonald's customer find vape inside their child's food box
TikToker @tonya_michelle2022 uploaded a series of three videos on TikTok which documents their family's ordeal dealing with McDonald's after making a shocking find. The Happy Meal she purchased for her daughter contained a fully intact vape along with chicken nuggets.
A vape is a device used for inhaling nicotine through vapours produced by the machine. It is used as a popular alternative to cigarettes. This is definitely not something any child of any age should have access to, not to mention, the presence of this tool in the food indicates serious health and food safety violation.
The mother approaches McDonald's restaurant in the first video, saying,
Open up that chicken nugget box. There’s no chicken nuggets there was a vape that my daughter opened up.
The restaurant claims that they have no idea how the vape got into the child's food. However, there is no resolution on the matter as of now, and McDonald's has not provided an official statement about the case yet.

Reactions of people to the video
The three videos related to this case has now collectively been viewed over 15 million times. Needless to say, the case has gone completely viral. Viewers were appalled by the shocking device inside the Happy Meal.
One commenter shared the following theory,
Maybe someone working was using the box to hide it in between breaks and accidentally put the wrong box in the bag.
Many people also appreciated how nice the manager of the McDonald's restaurant was. One such comment reads,
This is by far the nicest manager I've seen at a McDonald's
Several people also raised doubts regarding the veracity of the allegations. A viewer had this to say about the issue,
I don’t believe the customer what so ever
The case underlines just how easy it is for customers to end up with horror stories while dining at a fast-food restaurant. It also demonstrates the possibility that with laws around vaping still being unclear, people might be vaping very near, or even into foods in restaurant kitchens.
