A McDonald's former corporate chef has just spilled the beans on what is the worst time in the day for you to visit a McDonald's.

Tiktoker Mike Haracz who shares videos under the handle @chefmikeharacz is a former McD corporate chef who shares insider information about the fast-food restaurants and its secrets.

In one of the chef's latest video, he addresses a question which asks about the 'worst time' in the day to visit McDonald's. The comment reads,

Why is 10:30 the worst time to go to McDonald's

As per the chef, since McDonald's all-day breakfast isn't available anymore, 10:30 a.m. each day is when McDonald’s restaurants usually switch over from its breakfast to lunch menus. The chef says,

Now, there's a bunch of people who want their breakfast later than 10:30, there's a bunch of people who want their lunch earlier than 10:30.

The issue is, all the equipment is the same, and a lot of times, things are switched over from the breakfast menu to the lunch menu.

There is a lot of aspects of the kitchen that needs to be attended to at 10:30 AM, creating 'a lot of issues' in the kitchen.

As the chef puts it,

That is why 10:30 is the worst because it is a cluster in the restaurants transitioning from breakfast to lunch.

People's reaction to the information

For some people, 10:30 AM apparently happens to be the chosen time of day to visit the fast-food restaurant. One such fan commented,

I find just after 10:30am to be the best time to get lunch cuz all the lunch items are the freshest at that point.

While others had a more pragmatic take. One viewer opined,

it's nice for extremely fresh lunch food but fully expect a longer wait

Another pointed out the confusion created by the intersection of breakfast and lunch saying,
