As reported by Mashed, the latest menu item to join this list is a pretty spectacular and strange-looking shake introduced by McDonald’s Finland.
McDonald’s Finland shakes
McDonald’s Finland has introduced the new Grey Licorice Shake for a limited time. It is a shake flavoured with licorice and it has caught people’s attention on account of its grey colour which looks nothing like any other shakes they have ever seen.
The other exciting shake on offers right now is called Monster Freak Shake which has Monster Freak sauce, Monster flavoured syrup, whipped cream and Oreo crumble. According to Brand Eating, this shake is inspired by Sesame Street's Cookie Monster.
McDonald's Finnish deaf-inclusive brand jingle
McDonald’s Finland was also in the news earlier this month for its releasing a deaf-inclusive ad jingle. According to Ad Week, hearing impaired rapper Signmark co-wrote the lyrics of McDonald’s Finnish jingle and signed the lyrics of the song.
It was released on The International Week of the Deaf (from September 18), and the song is called “Something Bigger (I’m Lovin’ It).”
Mats Nyström, marketing director at McDonald’s Finland, is quoted by the report as saying,
As one of the most well-known brands in the world, we can use our scale for good and make a difference.
