McDonald’s as a brand is known for constantly reinventing their menu and branding. Loyal McDonald’s fans are already aware of the fact that the brand does not shy away from introducing new changes, while giving fans a sneak-peek through its social media posts.

Now, McDonald’s UK has just made some changes to their Instagram account which has left fans guessing if could be a clue for what’s to come next from the fast-food giant.
McDonald’s UK Instagram
First, McDonald’s UK changed its display image. Earlier it contained a standard McDonald’s logo but it has now been switched with a logo which still spells the letter ‘M’ in classic McDonald’s branding but in a different style.
The current logo being used in McDonald’s UK Instagram has a much wider spaced ‘M’ with the two golden arches flattened and further apart than usual.
The change in logo is also coupled with a social media post where the new logo is shown morphing into the classic McDonald’s logo. The post is also captioned with a side-eye emoji which hints that there’s stuff fans should be watching out for.
Reactions to the changes
The changes have made McDonald’s fan excited about what’s to come next with many of them using this opportunity to ask McDonald’s to bring back their favourite menu items.
Some fans have theorised the changes could be referring to adult Happy Meals.
One fan wrote,
If this isn't the launch of an adult happy meal, I'll be soooo disappointed
A former employee also chimed in saying,
As a McDonalds Employee I have a feeling it may be an Adult Happy Meal. Medium fries. A burger and sort of like Xmas cracker toy. Look at the way the arches get smaller. It’s what’s at the top of a happy meal box
An overwhelming number of McDonald’s fans were also asking for the axed Chicken Legend sandwich back, while some fans speculated that the brand is changing its logo!
It remains to be seen what major changes McDonald’s is planning to introduce next.
