After years of McDonald’s fans begging the company to put a permanent chicken burger on the menu, the fast-food restaurant has finally relented and has given fans a super surprise just ahead of winter.

As reported by Delish, the company has launched a chicken burger called McCrispy, which would be part of McDonald's permanent menu. It is McDonald’s first permanent chicken burger since 2007.

McCrispy was previously introduced by the company as the Crispy McFillet burger.
The McCrispy is a crispy chicken burger with glazed sourdough bun that is sprinkled with sesame seeds. The crispy chicken breast has been marinated in black pepper and cayenne and has oodles of flavour and a subtle spice kick. This is topped with classic mayonnaise that has cracked black pepper and savoury chicken seasoning.
Pricing and availability
As per Mirror, the McCrispy will be available for £6.49 as part of an Extra-Value meal and will be in launched on 19 October.
Not only this, TV presenter Maya Jama has been announced as the face of McDonald’s latest launch campaign and she will feature in an advert for it along with comedian Leigh Francis, rapper Michael Dapaah and girl-boss gamer Elz the Witch.
