A video is going viral on TiKTok after revealing what the creator found out about the actual ingredient in McDonald's Sweet 'N Sour Sauce. And the comments on the video indicate that many of the fast-food restaurant’s fans had no clue about the truth as well.
McDonald's Sweet 'N Sour Sauce is made of fruit
The TikToker @evs_kii posted her video with the caption saying,

She then goes on to say,

After a couple of seconds, she reveals that the fruit in the McDonald's Sweet 'N Sour Sauce is apricots!

Yes, indeed, McDonald’s cites the ingredients of the sauce as,
McDonald's Sweet 'N Sour blends flavors of apricot and peach flavors with savory spices and leaves a slight lingering heat.
According to the TikToker,

Reactions to the video
The comments on the video echoes the shock and surprise of the content creator at finding out the actual ingredient in the sauce. This was news to many of McDonald’s fans who expressed how they did not even know the sauce is made out of fruit or if they knew, they were under the assumption that it must contain some other kind of fruits.
