McDonald's to release limited edition versions of their popular McCrispy sandwiches this month

With chicken sandwiches taking on a whole new level of popularity, McDonald's Crispy Chicken was added to the fast-food company’s permanent menu item last year. Since then, this chicken sandwich has swiftly become a crowd favourite among McDonald’s enthusiasts.

Now, as reported by Chew Boom, McDonald’s is going to bestow a high honour on the Crispy Chicken, and to mark the occasion, it is also giving its chicken loving fans even more options by introducing two new versions of the McCrispy: the new Bacon Ranch McCrispy, and new Bacon Ranch Deluxe McCrispy.

Crispy Chicken now to become 'Mc'Crispy

After the roaring success of Crispy Chicken, McDonald’s has decided to add a ‘Mc’ ahead of its name, officially anointing it with the McDonald’s badge of honour. Crispy Chicken sandwich will henceforth be called ‘McCrispy Chicken sandwich. The Street quoted the press release published by McDonald’s, as saying,

McDonald’s Crispy Chicken Sandwich quickly became a fan-favorite when it first hit US menus in 2021.

And now, this beloved sandwich is joining some of our most iconic menu items -- McNuggets, McMuffin, sandwiches, and McFlurry desserts -- with a fresh new name: McCrispy.

Two new versions of McCrispy coming up soon

McDonald’s will be launching two new versions of the McCrispy sandwich from March 13, to mark the occasion.

• The Bacon Ranch McCrispy consists of crispy whole muscle chicken fillet, applewood smoked bacon and cool, crispy crinkle cut pickles. It is topped with a creamy, tangy buttermilk ranch sauce mixed with dried herbs and spices on a warm toasted potato roll.
• Bacon Ranch Deluxe McCrispy has Roma tomatoes and crispy shredded lettuce on this crispy, juicy, tender sandwich made with whole muscle chicken fillet, applewood smoked bacon and cool, crinkle cut pickles. It is also topped with the same sauce as Bacon Ranch McCrispy and served on toasted potato roll.
