1. Diet breakfast: Many of us are guilty of skipping breakfast, often because we feel we just don't have the time for it. And yet, it's a big mistake because breakfast allows you to start the day well, recharge your batteries and help you avoid succumbing to snacking throughout the morning.
So if you really want to lose weight, we advise waking up about twenty minutes earlier (or skipping the straighteners - your choice!) to prepare and enjoy a good breakfast. Carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and vitamins are essential, as is choosing the least processed foods possible. Say goodbye to chocolate cereals! To slim down, you should go for organic whole grains, seeds, soy 'dairy' products and low-calorie fruits.
2. Example breakfast: Your breakfast should comply with the nutritional recommendations of the National Food Safety Agency and, like the other meals of the day, consist of 50% to 55% carbohydrates, 35% to 40% of fat, and 12% to 16% proteins.
So to slim down, we recommend carbohydrates in the form of whole grains: a few slices of wholemeal bread, a mug of oatmeal, or a bowl of homemade granola. Healthy fats can be found in vegetable butter, nuts and hazelnuts, and proteins in soy 'dairy' and almonds. Of course, it's important to drink to rehydrate the body, ideally an organic lemon juice in a glass of warm water.
3. A diet breakfast recipe: Paired with the famous lemon juice detox, homemade granola is ideal for a diet breakfast. It's also great if you're often in a rush in the mornings as you can easily prepare it in advance. The day before or even at the weekend, mix 150g whole oats, a tablespoon of flaked almonds, a teaspoon of hazelnut oil, and a teaspoon of your favourite superfood. Put this mixture in the oven at 150 degrees for a couple of minutes. In the morning, all you have to do is add your granola to a plain soy yogurt with no added sugars and some currants, strawberries or raspberries.
