Most people can't even have a real conversation until they drink their first cup. It turns out that in some cases, this can do more bad than good when it comes to our bodies.
Drinking coffee on an empty stomach could cause the lining of your stomach to become damaged which in turn can lead to indigestion and heartburn.

This should really go without saying, but alcohol is absolutely something you need to avoid consuming on an empty stomach. While drinking on an empty stomach, alcohol can be absorbed right into the bloodstream through the lining of the stomach, which can cause blood vessels to widen and results in a drop in blood pressure. This can also lead you to feel the effects of alcohol a lot sooner and a lot more intense than you would if you had started consuming it with food in your belly.
