In West Northamptonshire Council, a slice of this massive injection of funds by Household Support Fund would be spent in the form of £15 cash vouchers, which can be used by households to pay for essentials and groceries.
Eligibility to receive the cash vouchers
According to the report, the £15 vouchers would be offered to those households in West Northamptonshire which have children. The monetary aid would help these homes pay for food and groceries during the October half term break.
Other specifics regarding eligibility as well as the logistics of the distribution have not been made clear yet. It is however reported that councils would be connecting with schools to ensure a proper distribution of the cash vouchers.
