‘He's small but mighty!’
According to the animal shelter, Benny’s big personality outweighs his 4kg frame.
Sadly, the adorable Yorkshire terrier was found abandoned on a property and when he arrived in the charity care, he was underweight and in horrendous body condition.
The animal welfare organisation wrote about the pooch on Facebook:
Benny was found abandoned on a property and was extremely underweight when he arrived in the care of The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home - CDCH. Despite his ordeal, he's a social and active little chap who loves to play with both human and doggy friends.
Luckily, fast forward 6 weeks, and The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Homewas able to nurse Benny back to a healthy weight.

Despite his size, Benny is an ‘incredibly active chap’ who enjoys frequent countryside walks along with training and play sessions. He will require a home that has plenty of time to dedicate to exercise.
Benny has shown to become attached to people easily which has resulted in him displaying resource-guarding behaviours towards people and items like his bed or toys. His new human companion will need to be confident in handling the pooch’s attitude and be eager to help the pet overcome it.
Due to this behaviour, the dog would be most suited to a quite adult-only home with minimal comings and goings.
Benny's favourite pastime is snuggling up in his bed and having an afternoon nap. He will thrive in a home that can offer him plenty of human interaction and company.
