Rescue sisters
Mei, a rescue dog from Romania, wasadopted a few weeks before her sister Luna, meaning the pair spent some time apart. Her owners shared several videos of the lonely pup settling down in her forever home. Without her sister by her side, she didn’t have as much fun as she could have.
When Luna and Mei were finally able to reunite, their special humans couldn’t be happier. They captured the sweet moment in a TikTok video.
A long kiss
The viral clip shows Luna and Mei carefully approach each other, almost in disbelief they were finally together, before sharing a long sisterly kiss.
Their owners wrote in a caption:

They explained that before entering the country both dogs were tested at the border and were totally healthy. And they also took them to a vet directly after taking them home.
Forever home, finally
The heartwarming video has attracted many animal lovers from all over social media, scoring more than 205K views and 18K likes.
Luna and Mei’s owners shared a follow-up video showing pups happily playing together.
