When Bree Taylor was on a walk with her dog one morning, she didn’t expect that she would return home as the pack leader of a mischievous little bunch of ten.

Woman finds ten abandoned kittens
Bree Taylor explained that she was out walking her dog Koda one cold morning in Dalby (about 200km west of Brisbane, Australian), when, on the way home, she came across a pack of little kittens in the grass.
‘They came right up, so I sat on the ground and they were purring and really hungry.’
When Bree looked closer, she counted ten kittens, but the mother was nowhere to be seen. Because she was afraid that something might happen to the fluffy little kittens, the Australian decided to take them back home with her, as various news sources reported.
The kittens quickly accepted Bree as their new ‘mom’
However, because she had nothing to carry or transport all the kittens, Bree decided to go get her car, even though she wasn’t exactly comfortable with the idea of leaving the kittens alone. And then she got quite a surprise. Instead of waiting for their new mother to return, the kittens started to follow her all the way, apparently very happy about having a new mom. Bree recalled:
‘I couldn’t carry them all, so I started walking home and they all followed me about a kilometre.’ Finally, Bree managed to find all the kittens a new, loving home. Who knows, maybe some of them had decided that her dog would make a lovely little playmate, just like little Rosie did.
Bree still doesn’t understand how and why someone would want to abandon these kittens.
‘I was disgusted that someone had just dumped them,’ she says before adding: ‘If you can’t afford to desex your cat or look after and find homes for kittens, don’t own a cat.’
