Kathryn Van Beek was on her way home one evening when she saw a tiny shape in the street. On looking closer, she discovered that it was a newborn kitten. Totally drenched, the tiny cat was barely alive but Kathryn was determined to help him.

After taking the kitten home and nursing him intensively for twelve days, she was able to save him. She named the little cat Bruce - after Bruce Wayne from Batman - and his transformation from when she found him is truly amazing.
