A dog was abandoned at a local shelter in North Carolina for a bizarre reason. The owners thought their dog was gay, so they abandoned him.

Fezco was left at the shelter
Fezco is a dog of an unknown breed and is estimated to be around 4 or 5-years-old. He was abandoned at the Stanly County Animal Protective Services in Albemarle, North Carolina.
The reason that the owners abandoned Fezco was that they thought he was ‘gaynine’ because they saw him humping another male dog, so they didn’t want him around anymore.
The shelter has put Fezco up for adoption and is hoping he will find his loving forever home soon and the shelter has confirmed they have received many applications for the dog.

It’s natural for dogs to hump each other
According to the ASPCA, it is completely natural for dogs to hump one another. Dogs don’t only hump each other though, they are also known to hump their toys or even a person's leg when they get over-excited.
Puppies will often hump their siblings to practice, female dogs will also hump one another when they are in heat. A dog humping can be a form of stress-release for them, just like humans. A male dog humping another male dog can be a sign of one trying to dominate the other.
