'That cat had a corporate job in a past life'
The Internet was left in stitches by a cat who learned how to turn off its owner's alarms, after a video of the pet frantically deleting them from the screen went viral on social media.
The popular TikTok clip shows the fluffy becoming visibly agitated every time an alarm went off, rushing not just to put it off, but to delete it from its owner's phone.
The post, which has so far received more than 8.2 million views and 1.8 million likes, comes with a caption:
Did not believe my roommate's cat was turning her alarms off so I tested it.

Are cats smart?
It is believed an adult cat's intelligence is comparable to that of a 2-year-old human toddler. They have object permanence recognition and awareness of objects that aren't directly visible.
The brains of cats have a structure that is about 90 per cent similar to ours. They have 300 million neurons, and more nerve cells in the visual areas of their brain, a part of the cerebral cortex, than humans and most other mammals.
Cats are also able to pick up body language, according to a study. In one of the experiments, the animals were presented with two bowls, one empty, and the other filled with food that they couldn't see. When researchers pointed toward the bowl with food in it, nearly all of the cats walked right to it, proving they aren't as aloof as they may look.
