This family had to say goodbye to their 18-year-old dog, Sunny. As they struggled with their grief, they received a letter from an ‘angel’ called Helper. Here’s what it said.
Helper: The 'mysterious angel'
After the family had their beloved family dog Sunny put down, they received a letter from their vet. It was an ‘angel’ called Helper that wrote to them. Helper claimed to be an angel in heaven and was assigned to look after the family’s dog.
Helper even had a message from Sunny for the family. Helper wrote that Sunny was missing them but that he knows he will see his family again one day:
Sunny misses you and hopes that you understand he had to come here, I am sure that one day Sunny will be there to greet you when you come here and you will have a grand reunion.
The ‘angel’ reassured the family that Sunny won’t ever be lonely and that when they meet again it ‘will be like you were never apart’.

The touching letter from Helper

Hello. My name is Helper. I am an angel. There are a lot of angels in Heaven and we all have different jobs. My job is to write to people and let them know that their pets have arrived in Heaven.
Sunny was tired and I think maybe he knew that it was time to come here. And it is a good thing he did because now he is not old anymore and he isn't sick either.
Until then, we will keep him busy and happy. Here we don't have time like you do. It never gets dark. It is just one long day. And everyone here is your friend, so don't worry.
This veterinary clinic definitely goes out of its way to console the families that visit. They do their best to make the passing easier, especially if there are children in the family.
