The scene took place at Conway Area Humane Society, in New Hampshire. During her tour of the shelter to check everything was in order, the supervisor Debra Cameron came across a very moving scene: one of her colleagues was lying down in a cage next to adog.

As close as possible to comfort her
Her colleague, Chrissy Ireland, was sleeping on the ground, in a cage, next to Prissy, a young abandoned dog, who had had a difficult life before arriving at the shelter. They had recently operated on the dog to spay her. Chrissy thought that she was in need of being comforted.
The supervisor films the scene
She quite simply lay down next to the dog to stroke her, calm her down and keep her company. The head of the shelter decided to film the scene before publishing it on the association’s Facebook page to show the extent to which employees are generous and loving towards the animals in the shelter…
