Megan the dog reacted quickly
When British man Gary Gregory suddenly suffered from internal bleeding at his home without warning, he used the very last bit of his strength to call the emergency services. He then fainted, as the Mirror reports.
With him in his home was his faithful dog Megan, a Rottweiler. And she seemed to be the last resort for her Gary. When the paramedics finally arrived, they found the door locked. Gary was unable to open it - he fainted a few metres from the front door before they arrived.
The paramedics then knocked and loudly called for someone to open the door. Now, imagine their surprise when the door suddenly opened and a female Rottweiler was staring at them.

And truly: the three-year-old dog turns out to be a true lifesaver and hero, because without her, medical help would have been too late. Her owner will surely thank her for the rest of his life for this amazing achievement. Gary expressed his gratitude to the Mirror:
There is no doubt about it, Megan saved my life. By letting the paramedics in, they were able to help me. Without her it would have been a different story. We always found it handy that she could let us in if we forgot our keys, but now we realise that we couldn't live without her.
