A heartbreaking discovery
Poland-based animal rights group TOZ Opole got tipped off about a dog that was living in horrendous conditions and needed to be rescued. When they arrived at the scene last weekend, they weren’t prepared for what they were about to see.
The team were confronted with a three-month-old Muffin who was forced to live outside in a broken TV set for shelter.

The puppy looked neglected, skinny, and unhealthy, and was terrified of people. They wrote on Facebook:
The puppy crumbles and urinates under himself at the sight of an outstretched hand, and when a human approaches him, he stays still and shakes, staring at one point, as if he’s waiting for another punch!
But who was responsibly for such horrendous animal cruelty?

Once an animal abuser, always an animal abuser
The charity revealed that they had previously rescued a dog from an elderly woman, who was accused of beating and chaining up the pup.
Now, the same 90-year-old animal abuser stole and hid Muffin from a neighbour and tortured him by freezing, starving, and beating him.

Rescue and hope for a new life
The charity rescued the pup and named him Muffin ‘to sweeten this unfortunate situation’. They also vowed to ‘restore his faith in people’ and find him a home where he will ‘never know hunger or fear’.
They are now busy providing basic care for the sweet pup, deworming and vaccinating him. They also started to introduce him ‘delicious food’ he has never eaten in his life.
The rescue is asking for support to give Muffin a ticket to a happier future.
