This Zurich-based foundation (whose name means "animals in the law") launched a shocking campaign, featuring animals in leather costumes that recall the sexual practices of domination and sadomasochism. Below the images, you can read the caption "no animal takes pleasure in suffering".
Making an impression
For this campaign, Tier Im Recht collaborated for the fourth time with an advertising agency that worked on this project for free. The foundation fully recognizes the choice of sexual imagery and embraces the shocking aspect of the images.
"Unlike humans, animals never have the opportunity to consent to an act of torture. On the contrary, they are at our mercy and can not defend themselves," they explain on their website.
By shocking those who look at the images, Tier Im Recht hopes to raise public awareness of animal suffering.
This cow is completely harnessed, making her movements impossible.
The bird is chained in an extremely uncomfortable position.
However, many people have objected to this campaign - including those involved in the BDSM community.
