Not only has Julia’s grandma passed down her vintage nighties and dresses, but she has also imparted some useful information on how to store your clothes while ensuring they smell fresh for longer.

Here’s how to store your ‘laundry’
Julia shared her grandma's preservation hack, explaining how her grandma used to store her laundry.
She said:
Anyone else rip out those magazine fragrance testers and shove them in your drawers to keep your clothes smelling nice? I did up until a few months ago.
When Julia was visiting her grandmother’s house once, she saw her putting on her lingerie and pulling a bar of soap out of the drawer.
Julia continued:
I was like 'why do you have that in there?' and she said: 'oh honey, you didn't know? That's how you keep your clothes smelling nice.’
Apparently, if you keep your clothes together with a scented-wrapped bar of soap, the solution will last 15 to 20 years.
Julia tried the hack out for a few months and admitted:
My clothes smell amazing. Definitely give it a go.
Wrap the soap bar in paper
In a follow-up clip, Julia added that you should make sure the bar of soap is wrapped in paper rather than in plastic.
She continued:
Buy a non-offensive bar of soap and make sure it’s wrapped in paper so the scent can come through.
According to the influencer, you can put it in your closets and in your drawers and it will make everything smell great and last many years.
