This optical illusion test reveals a lot about your personality: What do you see first?

Mia Yilin has created a following of 456K followers on TikTok through her optical illusion personality tests. Yilin posts videos and asks you what you first spot in a certain image. The images are often cartoon-like and colourful, and there are different ways you can interpret them. Yilin uses what you see first to determine what kind of a person you are; where your strengths and weaknesses lie and how you view the world.

Your first test

So, let’s do this first one together. What do you see in the yellow and black image? There are supposed to be two options: a slouching woman, or a man’s face.

In her video, Yilin explains that if you see a ‘slouching woman’, then it means you have good morals but are also easily influenced by those around you:

If the first thing you saw was the slouching woman, then you are a person of the highest morals. Not only are you kind and forgiving, but you're also generous. You are admired for your positivity and do things with efficiency. You're great at picking up on social cues and can be easily influenced by other people's negative behaviour.

However, if you saw a man’s face with a head of black hair, then it means you are a secretive and analytical person. Yilin adds that you often feel misunderstood as you ‘carve your own path and make decisions for yourself’. Though you have no intention of being a people pleaser, you do want ‘reassurance that you are loved by others’.

Though some users are left a bit confused as they reckon they can see both images or neither, most are amazed by how accurate Yilin’s comments are. One viewer wrote:
