Supermarket giant Asda is set to conquer the UK market in a new sector, as it launches its latest venture that will see it expand a new line of convenience stores across the country.

As reported by Daily Mail, Asda Express launches from today. The first of these convenience stores by Asda has opened in Sutton Coldfield and a second one will be opening in Tottenham Hale next month. By next year, the supermarket giant aims to have 30 more such convenience stores.
Offerings in the new convenience stores
With the new stores, Asda aims to make the daily lives of their consumers easier and make their meal shopping super-efficient, whether it be for a quick lunch or for groceries for a home-cooked meal.
The new store has over 3000 products which include fresh groceries, frozen foods as well as alcoholic beverages such as beers, wines and spirits.Asda would be also be offering hot and cold foods from brands such as Leon. They would also provide £10 meal deals for two people.
The store is also setting up a corner for parcel collection service. Asda would also be connecting to customers via Uber Eats for deliveries very soon.
Landmark moment for Asda
Mohsin Issa, Asda's co-owner, is quoted as saying that this is a very important moment for Asda. He states,
The launch of our first Asda Express convenience stores is a landmark moment and a key step on our journey to bring Asda to more customers in more communities right across the UK.
The stores have been designed to cater for a broad range of customer needs – whether that's popping in for a pint of milk, grabbing a spot of lunch on the go, or buying the fresh ingredients to cook dinner from scratch.
