As the youngest of the Trump children, Barron had largely stayed out of public view throughout his teenage years. Barron, now 18 years old, has just started attending New York University’s Stern School of Business, a prestigious institution where he’s already making an impact on campus.
His presence has been the subject of much discussion among students, with some even filming and posting his movements on social media. Along with his new educational venture, Barron is also reportedly assisting his father in reaching out to younger voters, aligning with Trump’s ongoing political campaigns. Amidst this, reports from 2020 regarding his first alleged 'girlfriend' have caught fire again. Here’s what we know!
A TikToker claims to be Barron Trump’s first girlfriend
According to The Daily Beast, a TikTok user named Maddie, who goes by the handle @Maddatitude, claims that she was Barron Trump’s first girlfriend. She has shared several videos to back up her story.
Maddie says she attended Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York, where she and Barron—who has always led a lavish life—became close. According to her, they were an item while the two studied in the same school.
In a video posted in 2020, Maddie revealed a class photo featuring her and Barron standing together, along with other schoolchildren.
She explained that when Trump was elected President, Barron arranged for their entire fifth-grade class to visit the White House. Maddie posted a picture of the class standing with Trump and the First Lady Melania, in the Oval Office, further supporting her claim of their connection. She said:
I went to school with Barron Trump, and he was my first bf. When Trump was elected, he brought the entire class to the White House. We gotta save my bae!
However, the relationship reportedly didn’t last. According to MailOnline, Maddie disclosed in the comments that the primary reason for their breakup was the distance between them, especially when Barron transferred to St. Andrews School in Potomac, Virginia, while she remained in New York. She added that Barron was ‘the nicest’ and ‘the best’ person, showing no ill will despite their separation.
Barron Trump’s education in elite schools
Barron Trump has had an elite schooling experience, with his education taking him to some of the most prestigious institutions in the United States. In 2017, Barron was attending Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, a private school on New York’s Upper West Side, reports People.
After spending time at Columbia Grammar, Barron transferred to St. Andrews Episcopal School in Potomac, Virginia, when the Trump family moved to Washington, D.C., during his first term in office. St. Andrews is known for its academic rigor and exclusive student body. It was here that Barron completed his middle school education while living at the White House.
Following the end of his father’s presidency in 2020, Barron relocated to Florida with his family and began attending Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach. This private school is renowned for its college-preparatory curriculum and also boasts a beautiful campus.
In 2024, Barron made headlines again when it was revealed that he had chosen to attend New York University’s Stern School of Business, rejecting other top colleges, including his father’s alma mater, Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
