Cyberbullying seems to have claimed another victim. The K-pop star Choi Jin-Ri, more commonly known by her stage name as Sulli, has recently been found dead at the age of 25 in her apartment in Seoul in South Korea. The young woman was incredibly popular and successful in the Korean group F(x), but it seems that this dream quickly turned into a living nightmare for her.

She became famous alongside Victoria, Amber, Luna and Krystal in the symbolic K-pop group, F(x) in 2009. In 2015, she left the group to pursue her own solo career. But the main reason for her leaving was the fact that Sulli was experiencing constant cyberbullying on social media sites.
News that saddened her fans
Although the police still haven’t released further information about her cause of death, suicide hasn’t been ruled out. As it turns out, South Korea is the country with the highest suicide rate in the OECD, as the French news source, Le Figaro explained. Sulli’s fans didn’t take long to express their sadness on social media and didn’t hesitate to blame cyberbullies for being the reason for the singer’s death.
The Investigation, however, is still ongoing and police have yet to release an official statement surrounding the singer's death.
