Donald Trump has been under scrutiny for many reasons over the past few years. His behaviour in court over fraud accusations caused a major scandal and now his mental capabilities as a Presidential candidate are being called into question. However, when it comes to the general public we cannot help ourselves: we are also prone to noticing changes in the physical appearances of the people on our screens.

Thus, there have been some rumours going around about the state of Trump’s hair. Why, for example, does it seem to change colour so very often? Well, we could have your answer.
Trump’s hair colour
Trump has, it would be fair to say, tried to keep his look young. He wants to appear fresh, especially in comparison to the 81-year-old Joe Biden, in order to attract younger voters. At 77 years old, it therefore makes sense that he dyes his hair. However, it seems to hop from a silver fox style to the darker blonde of his younger years - and has even gone to a full-blown tangoed orange at some point.
An insider source has revealed to PageSix that this is apparently due to a lack of patience. It would seem the former President can’t sit still long enough for a hairstylist to get a consistent colour:
Friends say he’s so impatient that he rarely gives the stylist the 30 to 45 minutes…
Trump apparently hates dye, and ‘the shorter time he gives them, the more orange his hair gets, as it takes time to get the darker blonde locks he associates with his younger years’. The source says Trump is always ‘rushing the hairdresser thus his colour can change every few weeks. And it gets lighter every time he washes it’.
Another change in Trump’s appearance
Onlookers have noticed that Trump’s hair is not the only thing to have changed over the Presidential race. Trump has dropped around ‘15, maybe 20lbs’ in weight over recent months. There was speculation over his potential use of the infamous weight loss drug Ozempic, but he insists he has done it the ‘hard way’. So, what does he do?
Well, he’s said that he is simply ‘too busy to eat’. He recently explained during an interview on FoxNews:
I've been so busy I haven't been able to eat very much. I'm not able to sit down and eat like a person like you - you can sit down and eat. Me, it's a little bit tougher.
Dr Stuart Fischer, a New York City-based internal medicine physician, said that the former President’s weight loss could be a sign he is over exerting himself. Speaking to DailyMail, he explained:
In a way he’s competing with his older self from many years ago. He cannot convince anyone that he’s the picture of health and he shouldn’t try to convince people he’s as fit as he used to be.
Indeed, it seems that Trump is fighting an uphill battle, and it is one that he may need to occasionally fight while accidentally ginger.
