Real Kosher Ice Cream
Real Kosher Ice Cream of Brooklyn, NY, is recalling their Soft Serve on the Go ice cream and sorbet cups. These products were distributed in the states of CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, IL, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, VA, and WV. The affected products are packaged in 8 fl oz. clear plastic cups and come in various flavors, including Vanilla Chocolate, Razzle, Caramel, Parve Vanilla Chocolate, Sorbet Strawberry Mango, and Soft Serve Lite Peanut Butter.
Why was the product recalled?
As stated by the FDA, there is a potential risk of Listeria monocytogenes contamination. This is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.

Listeria infection can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
How to get a refund
If you have purchased Real Kosher Ice Cream's Soft Serve on the Go cups, it is crucial to discontinue consumption immediately. You can return the product to the store for a full refund.

Knorr Sopa Soup Mix
On 10 August, Unilever United States Inc. issued a voluntary recall on select Knorr Sopa Soup Mix products.
The affected products include:
- Knorr Estrellitas con Tomate Tomato Based Star Pasta Soup Mix
- Knorr Fideos con Tomate Tomato Based Pasta Soup Mix
- Knorr Letras con Tomate Tomato Based Alphabet Pasta Soup Mix
Why was the product recalled?
These products, distributed nationwide, may contain egg, an allergen not listed on the label. The best if used by date for these products is prior to and including July 6, 2024. The concern is primarily for individuals with egg allergies. Consuming these products may lead to serious or life-threatening allergic reactions in those with allergies or severe sensitivity to egg.
FDA states that 'no other Unilever or Knorr products are affected by this recall', adding:
To date, the company has not received any reports of consumer complaints or allergic reactions associated with this product. Anyone concerned about an allergic reaction should contact a healthcare provider.
