A recent appeal has been launched by the police as they investigate the disappearance of four young people in the UK. Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson, and Hugo Morris are from the Harlech and Porthmadog areas in Wales, and were last seen preparing for a camping trip over the weekend.

The police are urging anyone who might have seen them to get in contact and quote the following reference: A184194. Here’s what happened when they were last seen, and what those close to the group have said to the public.
What happened when they were last seen
The group, thought to be in their teens, was last spotted on the morning of Sunday 19 November. They are thought to have been getting in a car to go off on a camping trip.
The teens are believed to be traveling in a silver Ford Fiesta with the registration HY14 GVO. Police helicopters have reportedly been searching for any signs of the vehicle or young men, but so far have found nothing.
It is thought that the group, who are experienced campers, were setting off for Snowdonia. They had their equipment with them.
What people close to the teens have said
The mother of one of the missing boys wrote on Facebook, expressing her concern and hoping to find answers:
I am frantic with worry. One of these boys is my son Harvey, please please please share and tag anyone in Wales or get in touch with any information you may have.
Another mum, whose daughter is in a relationship with one of the teens, also posted. According to her, the group was due home yesterday morning, on Monday 20 November:
My daughter's boyfriend is the 1 lad. They have been missing up Snowdonia after going camping yesterday and were due home this morning but have not been seen or heard from since. Please share with as many as possible so we can try and get them home safely thank you.
The investigation is ongoing. Wales Online has posted images of the young men, so the public know who they are looking for. If you spot them or their car, you should get in touch with the police immediately.
