Defrost your fridge

Before cleaning your refrigerator, you have to defrost it. First, empty yourfridge, then unplug it. Remember to place towels or rags under it to soak up any water that might leak from it. If you want to extend your fridge's life, we recommend defrosting it every two months.

Use the right products

Once thefridge has defrosted (which takes about 3 hours), you can start cleaningit. You don't need any chemicals! Just mix white vinegar with hot water and scrub your fridge with it, then rinse it with cold water and dry it with a clean cloth.

Use all the instruments you need

If some parts of the fridge are hard to reach with a sponge, use a toothbrush to brush around the corners. And don't forget to clean the outside of the appliance with warm water and mild soap.

Organize your fridge

If you want to avoid getting your fridgedirty again just as fast as you cleaned it, consider organizing it. For example, you can throw out all that cardboard packaging you don't need, put your leftovers in Tupperware containers and coat the bottom of your crisper with paper towels to keep it clean.
