Barbie dolls have developed quite a following but should never become beauty models. Unfortunately, since plastic surgery has become more accessible and the techniques have evolved, lots of people have tried to change the way they look to resemble a character or a celebrity.

And this is exactly the case for Valeria Lukyanova, also known as ‘The Russian Barbie’.
This young woman is now 33 years old and is still undergoing plastic surgery to look more like Barbie, which worries her fans quite a lot, since many believe this sends a negative message to young girls. As we already know, Barbie dolls present an unrealistic image of what women should look like.
And yet, Valeria Lukyanova isn’t the only one who is trying to look like someone else. Her entire family and even some of her friends are also very addicted to going under the knife. From her best friend to her mother, to her father and brother. All of the Lukyanova's seem to have an incredibly strong desire to look like Barbie or Ken.
