Is the Duchess of Sussex missing social media? In any case, that’s what certain journalists are speculating. When the royal couple came on Instagram with the account @Sussexroyal – where photos of their trips and public appearances are shared – some people think it is Meghan Markle herself who is behind the posts. As the site Harper’s Bazaar reports, the editor Chris Ship, a specialist of the Royal Family, has suggested on Twitter that it was the Duchess who wrote the latest message of acknowledgements published on Instagram on Monday the 15th of April. And that’s not all. Patricia Treble, also an expert on the Royal Family, explained that “Meghan was responsible for the most recent Instagram post, in particular because the word “diapers” is not often used in the UK.” Others, like the journalist Victoria Murphy, state that it’s more the tone used in the captions that prove that it is Meghan behind this account: “it is really interesting to see the informal and personal tone that the posts from @SussexRoyal use, addressing the reader directly.”
