How does the Invisibility Cloak work?

Whilst the cloak sadly won’t be much good for sneaking around unseen, you can use it to recreate your favourite scenes from the Harry Potter films thanks to a nifty included app that will make anyone wearing the cloak disappear from photos or footage. Plus, at Lidl’s price of just £19.99, you’ll pay less than half of the Invisibility Cloak’s RRP of £40.

Lidl Harry Potter range

The Harry Potter Junior Invisibility Cloak is part of Lidl’s new range of official Wizarding World merchandise, which features products based on both Harry Potter and the Fantastic Beasts films. The whole range goes on sale on Thursday 3rd December–just in time for Christmas shopping. Accio wallet!

Many of the products on offer, including a Quidditch Lego set (£27.99, down from £34.99) and a plush Dobby toy (£19.99, down from £35) are a lot cheaper than RRP. Harry Potter Dobble will be available for £9.99, £5 less than its RRP of £14.99–and would make for a perfect stocking filler for any Potterhead.

If you’re a family of Potter fans, you can even treat yourselves to a set of Harry Potter pyjamas each for Christmas, as there are sets on offer for kids (£4.99) and adults (£8.99). You can also keep your little witches and wizards warm this winter with matching Gryffindor beanies (£3.99), scarves (£4.99) and socks (£1.99, 2 pack).
