Marks & Spencer has issued a product recall of its Count on Us Thai style green chicken curry as it may contain crustaceans and molluscs that have not been declared on the label. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) and the supermarket have announced guidance on how affected customers should proceed given the potential allergy risk.

Possible health risk
The product in question is specifically the Count on Us Thai style green chicken curry with a pack size of 350g; a use by date of January 22, 2023; and a barcode mumber of 29137886.
The FSA has stated on the website:
Marks and Spencer is recalling Count on Us Thai style green chicken Curry because some packs contain crustaceans and molluscs which are not mentioned on the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to crustaceans and/or molluscs.

Advice to consumers who think they may have bought the product and have an allergy to crustaceans or molluscs is - do not eat it. Instead, you can return it to your nearest store for a refund and for more information contact Marks & Spencer on 03330148555.

Marks and Spencer is recalling its Count on Us Thai style green chicken curry given the undeclared presence of the allergens mollusc and crustacean in a small number of packs.
Please do not consume this product if you have an allergy or intolerance to mollusc and/or crustacean.
If you wish to exchange the product, you can return it to your nearest store where a full refund will be given.
