As reported by the Food Standards Agency, Marks & Spencer has recalled its mushroom pie over a possible health risk, here’s everything you need to know.
Marks & Spencer recalling mushroom pie
Marks & Spencer has been forced to recall its Plant Kitchen Mushroom Pie as it has been improperly labelled. As per the Food Standards Agency, the M&S mushroom pie contains soya, which has not been mentioned on the label.
This poses a great risk as some people may be allergic to soya, as it has been incorrectly labelled, those who may be allergic to soya are unaware the pie may contain it and could have an allergic reaction.

Actions taken by Marks & Spencer
Naturally, Marks and Spencer has recalled all Plant Kitchen Mushroom Pies that have been incorrectly labelled. The supermarket has advised customers to contact the relevant allergy support organisation, which will tell people more about the product recall.
Moreover, the supermarket has issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers, as per the Food Standards Agency. This notice explains to customers why the product has been recalled and what to do if you have purchased the Plant Kitchen Mushroom Pie.
If you have bought M&S’s Plant Kitchen Mushroom Pie, you can return it to your nearest M&S store for a full refund, only the mushroom pies with the above dates and code will be refunded.
