Is the Duchess of Sussex already more influential than Kate Middleton and the Queen? Well according to Vogue magazine and their 2018 ranking of the most influential women in Britain, the answer would be ‘yes’.

Every year, the magazine releases the ranking, which this year, will be available in July. Among the 25 women selected are also writer J.K Rowling, singer Dua Lipa, fashion designer Stella McCartney and Amal Clooney.
“Meghan fascinates the public”
According to the magazine, the Duchess of Sussex perfectly matches the main selection criteria for the ranking: “define or redefine our way of life”.
“Meghan captured the public imagination like no other this year and has become one of the most of the most recognisable women in the world. As a bi-racial campaigning feminist from America, she is helping to forge a new 21st-century identity for the monarchy” the magazine says.
Prince Harry’s wife is the only member of the Royal Family to be named in the list. Even sister in law Kate Middleton and the Queen are not featured in this ranking.
