Since September 23, there has been no trace of Lina. The 15-year-old disappeared on her way to the Sainte-Blaise-la-Roche train station to join her 19-year-old boyfriend Tao. Since then, searches have become a daily occurrence in the Bas-Rhin region, in an attempt to find any clues.

While the investigation took a new direction on Sunday, officially considering the criminal angle, a local resident who knows Lina claimed to have seen her in a car with a man. This testimony prompted the teenager's friend Sarah to speak out on BFMTV.
Lina is 'with someone she knows'
The last time they saw each other was a few days before the tragedy, in Strasbourg. Lina and Sarah had gone to Tao's for lunch. They were supposed to see each other again soon, but the teenager is no longer there. Since then, Sarah has struggled to close her eyes at night, even though she tries to 'keep hope alive'. She thinks 'constantly about her friend'. She has her own theory.
For the teenager, Lina 'must have been abducted in a car (...) by someone she knows.' In her opinion, the high-schooler was too 'suspicious' by nature to let herself be lured.
She wouldn't get into a stranger's car, even if he offered to take her all the way to Strasbourg. She would rather take the train, since she knows the risks.

A theory shared by Lina's mother
A few days ago, Lina's mother Fanny also shared her opinion with TF1, saying that she too would not have followed a stranger.
If she didn't know him, she wouldn't have gotten in the car.
For the moment, no hypothesis has been put forward by the authorities, and the investigation is continuing.
