It's already been two weeks since little Émile went missing. On July 8, the two-year-old boy disappeared in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region of France. While the investigation is still underway, BFMTV managed to gather a very important testimony this Saturday, July 22, 2023. The witness was Bernard Anthony, founder of the traditionalist organization Chrétienté Solidarité and a close friend of the child's father. He denied recent rumors that Émile's family was involved in his disappearance.

A relative defends the father

The founder of the Christian movement which some call a 'cult' has reacted to recent rumours about what could have happened to the little boy. Indeed, Bernard Anthony has given his full support to Emile's parents.

They're not part of a cult. They're Christians, period. [...] I've read and seen some disgusting things. How can you get to such a degree of dehumanization?

Then, he tried explaining Emile's father's behaviour during searches, which some have seen as a sign he knew what happened to his son.

He's a very nice guy who I've met several times. He's calm, collected and constantly seeks to educate himself.

Bernard Anthony also mentioned Émile's grandfather, treasurer of the traditionalist organization Chrétienté Solidarité.

You should see his library... He's a witty, discreet person, like his son. Pierre Soleil is an engineer, now retired. He's very shy and doesn't talk much. His son, Colomban, has inherited some of his father's shyness and kindness.
He's an old companion. But whether the boy is Catholic or not, close to our ideas or not, it doesn't matter, it touches us all.
