More than five hundred people gathered at the Pegler Square in south-east London to pay homage to a school teacher who was murdered last weekend.

Sabina Nessa, 28, was killed on her way to meet a friend at the Depot Bar, some five minutes away from where she lived. Her body was discovered in Cator Park in Kidbrooke on Saturday morning.
‘Amazing, Caring, Sister'
The deceased’s family has naturally been left distraught by her murder.
Her sister, Jebina Yasmin Islam, could not control her tears as she addressed the crowds of people who had come to mourn with them. She said:
I just want to say thank you to everyone who came today to show support for my sister. We have lost an amazing, caring, beautiful sister, who left this world far too early. Words cannot describe how we are feeling, this feels like we are stuck in a bad dream and can't get out of it - our world is shattered, we are simply lost for words. No family should go through what we are going through.
Nessa’s uncle said in a statement, the death of his ‘kind and open-minded’ niece has:
...once again brought to the fore the question of women's safety on the streets. We don't want what happened to Sabina to happen to anyone else. We don't want any other mother's chest to be empty or filled with deep sorrow, or to see the tears in the eyes of any father.
Investigations
Police on Thursday arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of murdering Nessa. He and another man arrested earlier in the week were released pending further investigation.
Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man who they would like to speak with in connection with the case.
They have asked the public to provide information about the man might be vital to the case.
