Soup recall

If you bought a pack of Itsu Noodle Soup Veg Gyoza and Greens from either Asda or Sainsbury’s, you should return them immediately as the product is being recalled over allergy fears, according to the Food Standards Agency.

Some packs of the products were found to contain prawn gyoza that has crustaceans in it but were not mentioned on the label. So if someone is allergic to crustaceans, this product could pose a serious health risk to them. According to a statement issued by Sainsbury’s:

Please do not consume this product with these use by dates if you have an allergy or intolerance to crustaceans or are vegetarian/vegan. If you have bought the above-mentioned product, we advise you not to open it.

You can return this product to the store where you bought it for a full refund.

Whey protein

Tesco has removed from its shelves their store brands of whey protein packs after they were found to contain pieces of metal, making them unsafe to eat. Tesco Active Strawberry Flavoured Whey Protein (9500g and 500g) and Tesco Active Chocolate Fudge Flavoured Whey Protein (500g), should not be eaten.

Superdrug is also recalling Slenderplan Tropical Smoothie Meal Replacement Shake due to the same reason; it may contain small pieces of metal, making it unsafe to drink.

Like the others, you should return this item to the store you bought it from for full refund even without a receipt.
