The only conditions necessary to benefit from this scheme are to have a Tesco Clubcard membership and for the accompanying adult to make a minimum purchase of 60p in the Tesco Cafe.
Tesco’s current initiative has been made in order to enable customers to spend less. With the October half-term approaching, free meals for kids can help take some financial burden off of households.
The Kids Eat Free will run from 17 to 28 October in England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. The scheme will run in Wales from 31 October to 4 November.
How to claim free meals for kids
Under the free meal scheme, Tesco is offering a wide assortment of items such as avocado on toast, fish fingers, along with snack and drinks.
All kids under the age of 16 years old are eligible to claim free meals. To benefit from the offer, the adults have to purchase one Tesco Café item that should cost at least 60p and they also need to have a valid Tesco Clubcard.
Tesco Clubcard is free to sign up and available across all its stores. Kids can claim meals worth up to £3.25 under this scheme.
