Then, of course, the show predicted Trump’s presidency long before he was elected to serve as the 45th President of the US and held office from 2017 to 2021.
The show in 2019 claims to have predicted the US Capitol riot, as well as Ted Cruz’s trip to Cancun at a time when his electorate in Texas was freezing in unusual cold weather.

Now, Al Jean, the show producer of The Simpsonshas shared on Twitter a screenshot from an episode in 2015.
The image features a flying Homer Simpson and a sign in the background reading ‘Trump 2024’, the Evening Standard reports.
Jean’s post comes after Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that he is going to run for the third time for the US President, the New York Post reports.
‘In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States,” said Trump. “America’s golden age is just ahead.’
