The fire at Notre-Dame which occurred on the 15th April broke many artists’ hearts, and they have rushed to illustrate their pain through some devastatingly beautiful artwork.

Quasimodo in the spotlight
As you can see in our video at the top of the article, several artists drew Quasimodo, the character created by Victor Hugo, crying over the historic monument. They have taken up the Disney character’s traits from the 1996 animated film adaptation. Others have submitted the gargoyles of Notre Dame, while some have drawn the idea that tears could extinguish the flames.
