Tom Grantham and his wife Kayley Barnes had a great idea. Parents to 3 children, this British couple decided to buy this old run-down bus on eBay in 2011, for the low sum of £1,200. Not too expensive, right?

Their plan was to refurbish the old engine and turn it into a luxury mobile home. And they spent around £10,000 to do it, by installing three double beds, a small kitchen, a shower, toilets and even a boiler!
‘Kayley and I were looking for a motor home and saw the bus and thought why not. It has been perfect for family holidays,’ explained Tom. And these holidays seem to have been pretty great in this home on wheels, since the family has already travelled around not only Great Britain, but also France, Belgium and Switzerland in the bus.
