Studio OBA, a Dutch architectural firm, has come up with a house that could handle two problems: the rising waters and the owners' divorce! Thus, they imagined a floating house, capable of splitting into two pieces in case of the couple’s separation.

A floating house
The Prenuptial House is composed of two units made of carbon fibre. They are prefabricated independently and then assembled to form a set, and thus creating a large house.
Everyone gets their part!
In case of separation, depending on the contract established, of course, everyone can leave with their part of the house.
More importantly, if one of the divorced is in love with another person who owns this type of house, they can even stick their part with the other person’s. A bit like a Lego set, which you can reassemble infinitely!
The price of the house is not yet known but it should vary depending on customer requirements, size and materials used in particular. You cannot stop progress...
