A miracle clean up
The cleaning company that came to the house, located in the district of Dalton (England), shared images of the conditions in which the man lived with The Mail. My Kind of Clean, the company in charge of bringing about this 'miracle' of a clean-up job, had employed 6 people for 50 hours, equipped with special tools, masks and even protective suits.
It seems that more than a decade of neglect can go a long way! The man, due to his advanced age, accumulated rubbish and damagethat was virtually impossible for him to fix. Faced with this level of horror, his friends decided to do something about it and called the cleaning company, which made the house look as good as new much to everyone's surprise!
Years of isolation
Emma-lea, the owner of the clearing company, explained:
The old man had lived alone for a few years and without help from anyone. In that time too much had accumulated. There was so much rubbish that we filled two containers with all sorts of items to be thrown away.
She continued:
He hadn't been out of the house for years, so we were worried about whether we would be able to do it or not. Fortunately, a friend took him in so that we could do it. I think the place had been deteriorating since the death of his wife.
It is very sad that it has come to this point, but fortunately the man's friends approached us and asked for our help. Otherwise, he would still be living in those conditions.
She went on to publicly thank her employees for their work:
I am very proud of the team we have. I thank my 27 women, who work so hard every day. The work they do does not go unnoticed. Thank you for being part of my team, you are all amazing.
